Brings 12 years of experience leading impactful teams across public and private education organizations, startups, and the federal government.

- Financial planning and analysis for a growing central office operations team, including development of a long-range model for sustainably expanding the Food & Nutrition Services’ self-operating program.
- Developing an 18-month financial forecast for an education startup to manage cash flow fluctuations and strategically allocate its resources.
Steven has also volunteered as a tutor and mentor, supporting middle school students’ growth through after-school STEM programs in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC.
Steven attended the University of Virginia, from which he holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to being a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2016, he earned a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University in 2020.
