Sri is committed to the equitable compensation and increased access of quality public services for all people. His work consists of database development, data analysis and visualization, financial modeling, and policy research.
Sri has contributed his expertise to multiple projects, including:
- Developing a dynamic funding formula model for early care and education to understand the financial viability and policy levers needed to increase access to quality care.
- Analyzing the relationship between demographic factors and student-performance of LEAs within a state using archetype and regression techniques.
- Building interactive heat maps to identify funding and opportunity gaps across different geographies through data visualization software.
Sri attended New York University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Public Policy. While at NYU and post-graduation, Sri has spent time volunteering at Thurgood Marshall Academy for Learning and Social Change, tutoring Math to students preparing for their Intermediate Regents Exams. He also interned at Children’s Funding Project, where he gained exposure to cost modeling childcare systems under the expertise of Kate Ritter. He is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and enjoys shooting and developing 35mm film.
