Chad is a member of Afton’s charter school finance practice, assisting clients with resource allocation, long-term financial planning and budgeting, and fiscal policies. He joined Afton with more than 20 years of experience working in education and finance. At the outset of his career, Chad worked in private equity, followed by a role at Citadel Investment Group, deploying capital via private investments in public companies. In the next phase of his career, he acquired his teaching certificate and taught middle school mathematics in Chicago Public Schools for seven years.

Immediately prior to joining Afton, Chad owned and operated his own investment firm, where he developed and executed trading systems in the financial markets. Concurrently, Chad consulted for companies in industries ranging from skin care to vacation rentals to education.

Chad holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University.
