Cristina Espino is a Director at Afton advising on financial sustainability for school systems. With a range of professional experiences from big four public accounting audit services to private equity early in her career, she then led and grew the national advancement team of the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education partner school network in school choice states. Prior to joining Afton, Cristina provided financial management consulting services to Catholic schools and networks across the country. A bilingual, creative thinker with proven ability to partner effectively and meet organizational objectives, Cristina’s passion and expertise is empowering leaders’ decision-making process and providing meaningful financial sustainability solutions and tools for schools. All the while considering the students and families served. Cristina holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. She lives in Orlando, FL with her husband, son, and daughter.
