Siri is a Senior Associate in Afton’s early childhood practice, supporting engagements with organizations seeking to design and implement healthy ECE systems. She has over 15 years of experience developing education and early education policies that advance equity for students and families. Siri is driven to create a safer and more healthful world for all children and families to thrive with an underlying belief that thoughtful, intentional policy and systems can make that vision a reality.

In this role, she provided nonpartisan policy research and tailored advising to state policy leaders in ECE, K-12 and postsecondary education across the country as they sought to improve education outcomes in their states. Earlier in her career, Siri served as education policy advisor to Montana Governor Steve Bullock, spearheading legislative efforts to invest in high-quality early childhood programs and securing and implementing the state’s Preschool Development Grant. Siri earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Montana.

In her free time, Siri enjoys traveling near and far, attempting to cook, and spending time outdoors with her toddler and nine-year-old rescue dog.
