Jacob Honigman

Senior Associate, K-12 Education Finance

Jacob is a Senior Associate focusing in Afton’s K-12 Education Finance practice with previous experience from the classroom, the CMO level, and management consulting. Before coming to Afton, Jacob worked within the education practice at EY-Parthenon, working on projects within all sectors of education including early childhood, K-12, higher education, and EdTech. Prior to entering consulting, Jacob was a 2018 Dallas-Ft. Worth TFA corps member where he taught 11th/12th grade history at a public charter school in South Dallas. After his time in the classroom, he worked at the HQ level at IDEA Public Schools as a Talent Partner, working with principals and other school leaders on sustainable hiring and growth plans.

Jacob holds a B.A. in History & Psychological and Brain Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a Texas Educator’s Certificate.
